A friend asked how to test whether the temperature transmitter of an environmental engineering instrument can still be used normally if it has not been powered on for a long time. Let me tell you how to test whether the temperature transmitter can still be used normally offline!
The simplest method is to directly connect the temperature transmitter/flow meter to the secondary meter and see if there is any numerical value displayed. The same is true for the pressure transmitter/flow meter. Just add some pressure and see;
If you want to be more precise, this is it - on-site inspection is a bit more difficult. It is easy to check whether it is good or bad, but it is difficult to check whether it is accurate. If you are under pressure, you can make your own pressurizing device and get a standard table for comparison. The temperature transmitter can be unplugged on site and the current can be measured. If the flow meter has been stored for several years, it is recommended to send it back to the manufacturer for recalibration.
If there is no secondary display instrument, there should be a multimeter. The temperature transmitter/pressure transmitter directly measures the 4-20mA current, and the thermal resistor directly measures the resistance between lines.
If the above secondary display instruments and multimeters are not available, then there is nothing you can do!
