Environmental Instrumentation releases intelligent temperature and pressure integrated transmitter

2026 05/28

Yuyao Environmental Engineering Automation Instrument Factory recently officially announced that its new generation intelligent temperature and pressure integrated transmitter, which has been developed after years of research and development, has successfully achieved mass production and been put into the market. This new product, codenamed HG-WY100, marks a breakthrough in environmental instrumentation in the direction of highly integrated and intelligent industrial sensors, aiming to provide streamlined and more reliable solutions for customers in process industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, and electric power.

In traditional industrial sites, temperature and pressure are two core parameters that need to be monitored independently, which means that users need to install, wire and maintain two sets of equipment separately, which is not only costly, but also increases system complexity and failure points. The HG-WY100 intelligent temperature and pressure integrated transmitter launched by Environmental Engineering Instruments innovatively integrates a high-precision temperature sensing module and a stable and reliable pressure sensing unit into a compact housing. It uses a self-developed signal conditioning circuit and a highly integrated microprocessor chip to measure the temperature and pressure of the medium in the pipeline or equipment synchronously and in real time, and transmits the two calibrated standard signals to the upper system through a single 4-20mA analog output or the mainstream HART/RS485 digital communication interface.

The far-reaching significance of this move is that it not only simplifies the installation structure of field instruments, saving installation costs and space, but more importantly, through native synchronization and correlation analysis of temperature and pressure data at the same measurement point, it can provide a more accurate data basis for process optimization, energy efficiency management and early fault diagnosis. For example, in steam transportation pipelines, synchronously monitored temperature and pressure data can more accurately calculate the enthalpy value of superheated steam; in chemical reactors, the combination of the two can better reflect the reaction process and safety status.

The development of this product inherits the innovative genes of Environmental Instruments, which have relied on national-level scientific research support and integrated the experience of international experts since its establishment. The company's technical director said: "Our goal has always been to solve the actual pain points at customer sites. The birth of HG-WY100 is in response to the call for integrated and intelligent data sources in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) era. It is not only a product, but also a key part of our efforts to build an efficient and intelligent perception layer for our customers." At present, this product has been successfully used in pilot projects of many large domestic chemical groups and has received good initial feedback.
